- 1998 - 2001:Officer Cadet Training, City of London Officer Training Corps.
After three years she completed her OTC training and attended the Territorial
Army Commissioning board at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for three weeks of
final exams. Received a commission as a 2nd lt in the Army Intelligence Corps,
serving in a TA unit.
- 2001 - 2005:Continued to serve as a TA officer while obtaining her Phd, again
at university of London. During this time she passed her two years probationary
officer period and was promoted to the rank of 1st lt in the Territorial army.
This was despite a prolonged leave of absence due to bereavement.
- 2005 - 2006:Applied for admission to the regular army. Attended Royal Military
Academy Sandhurst for regular officer training for a period of one year.
Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the regular army.
- 2006 - 2007:Served as an Intelligence Section Commander stationed at the
British Sovereign bases, Cyprus.
- 2007:Reassigned to Stargate command.

Background:
Jade was born into a family with a long history of serving in the Armed Forces.
Growing up in a military environment it seemed the natural thing for her to
follow in her families footsteps and sign up.
She had a natural curiosity with anything old and became interested in
Archaeology at a young age, finally deciding to go to University and seriously
study it. All her hard work payed off when she got her PHD.
She also had an interest in Archeology, taking up as a hobby more than a serious
study which was where she met her future fiancee another Army recruit, after a
three year relationship they were engaged only a matter of weeks later she
received the news that he'd been killed. The news was devastating forcing her to
request a personal leave of absence. She spent one year on leave before
returning to continue with her career.
