Personal History:
Blaise was born in Nottingham, England as Temperance Victoria Blaise McNeill, only child to Richard McNeill and the now Judith Blackwell-Locke. Most of her life was spent in relative affluence, her mother, a famous English actress, providing most of the income along with many travel opportunities that most children never get a chance to experience. Her father, a US Marine, provided travel experiences as well, but his were never quite as awe-inspiring as the filming locations of her mother.

The strange thing about Blaise was she always enjoyed being on base with her father as opposed to being on filming locations with her mother. She always felt that there was something more real about her father's work, something that she really admired. She was determined from a very young age that, while she really liked acting and had the gift for it, she wanted to do what her daddy did.

On the day of her eighth birthday, Richard and Judith called it quits and divorced, going their separate ways. Blaise was devastated. With her mother getting custody of her, she hardly ever got to see her father and she hated it.

By the age of fourteen, Blaise had had enough. Her mother had remarried a man named Arthur Locke and the girl hated her mum's new husband, not to mention her three new stepsiblings. The Locke children, Joshua, Patrick, and Cheryl, constantly tormented her. They were merciless and with Blaise being the youngest, she was next to powerless to defend herself. Six weeks after her fourteenth birthday, Blaise packed her bags and ran away in search for her father.

Amazingly the girl made it all the way to New York and to her father's front door before anyone caught up with her. After a huge argument, Judith finally conceded and allowed the girl to stay in New York with her father. Blaise couldn't have been happier.

Blaise attended high school like any normal teenager and actually graduated at the age of sixteen. Her father was very proud of her, even more so when her amazing grades got her immediately accepted into Cornell University. He would have preferred her to go to a more prestigious school, but she insisted on going to Cornell because she wanted to stay close to home and Cornell was the only school in the area that had the classes she wanted.

Blaise finished school at an astonishing rate. She got her BS in Mechanical Engineering, along with completing Cornell's NROTC program. Unbeknownst to her entire family, her father included, her plan all along had been to graduate college and then join the US Marine Corps.

And she did just that, much to the disapproval of everyone. Her father was so proud of her for wanting to follow in his footsteps, but really didn't think the life of a Marine was the best thing for his little girl. He knew she could do so much more, but she refused to listen. And as for her mother, well, at that point she pretty much had just given up on Blaise. It was not exactly the congratulations Blaise had been hoping for, but she pressed on regardless.

Blaise was first stationed at Camp Foster in Okinawa, Japan. It was a bit of a culture shock, but she ended up enjoying it the atmosphere...for the most part. Not everything in Okinawa was all that great. She and the other Marines were put through a lot of hard and sometimes even gruesome training exercises. There was a time when the Englishwoman thought she would break and wanted to give up, but she was determined to not only make her father proud, but prove to the rest of her family that she could do it.

Things went back a few months before being discharged from the Corps when Blaise got word that her father been killed on a mission in Uganda. He had been on his way to deliver supplies to a village when his plane crashed. His body was never discovered, but with such a horrific crash, all they could do was assume that he had died. Blaise wasn't able to make it to his funeral and that made things all the more devastating for her. She has yet to come to terms with his death.

Blaise was honorable discharged from the USMC a few months later and eventually decided to utilize her skills by joining the NYPD. She went to the police academy and passed with flying colors. She ended up specializing in K-9 handling and did an outstanding job until the day that she, her dog, Jax, and her best friend from the precinct, Gideon Lawless, were caught in a shootout where both Jax and Gideon were killed. Blaise was injured as well, a bullet to her shoulder, but she survived…for the most part.

Unable to deal, Blaise left the NYPD and disappeared for two months. When she finally reemerged, she was a different person. She was closed off and self-destructive/self-abusive. Seeming to have become an adrenaline junkie, she took up bounty hunting as her new occupation. She went to work for a man named Taz who ran the Midnight Run Fugitive Recovery Agency.

Blaise worked for Taz for a number of months before she ran into her old Marine CO, a man she had kept in contact with since she had left the Corps. She ended up telling him all that had happened to her over the years. The man, recognizing how useful her skills would be, recommended her for the Stargate Program. It wasn't long before she was approached by the military and after signing the confidentiality agreement, was asked to join. Blaise readily agreed.

Blaise was originally sent to Avalon Colony, an offworld base established by the US Air Force. She was assigned to Red Squad where she became best friends with Jaedyn Sinclair and the pair became inseparable, and she also fell in love with the commanding officer of Green Squad, Josiah Venture. On top of that, Red Squad acquired a black-coated German Shepherd named Jet, a service dog, who Blaise and Jaedyn ended up adopting.

Life was going well for the most part until everyone on Avalon was recalled and stuck on different teams at Area 111. Blaise ended up having to leave for a while to go back home to England to help take care of her grandfather who had had a heart attack. The separation between herself and Jae, Josiah, and Jet was so hard that Blaise wasn't sure she'd make it and caused her to slip somewhat back into her self-abusive ways. Eventually, and thankfully, she was able to return to Alaska to go back to work at Area 111. And she couldn't have been happier.

Psychological Profile:
Blaise seems to be a very fiery individual. She's very spunky, tenacious, and hardworking. She tries her best to be calm and levelheaded, but sometimes it seems she just can't help but be silly. In my opinion, she's extremely sarcastic and has no problems with standing up to people even if they're ten times bigger than she is.

From my short time with her, I've discovered that she can be quite nosey and loves to be the center of attention, no matter if the attention is good or bad. She's very friendly and loves meeting new people, but if you rub her the wrong way, watch out. She seems like she can be quite the hothead if she or those she loves are threatened. For the most part though, she seems quite well-rounded.

Additional Notes: Blaise has a slight obsession with food. She always has something to eat with her and if you ever want her to do something for you, all you have to do it offer some sort of food and she's all yours. I believe it has to do with an oral fixation that developed because of a disruption in her oral stage as a child, it's not something I'm concerned about.

However, though, I am concerned with the fact that she also seems to have a pretty bad self-abusive streak that I suspect generally manifests itself during times of heightened emotional stress. I've noticed some bruises, predominantly on her arms and hands. With this job, these types of injuries are to be expected, but not so frequently and in the same location. I don't believe she's a danger, but I do recommend sessions with myself or another psychologist on regular basis.

Medical Notes: She's allergic to all forms of alcohol. If she gets it on her skin, the area swells up and she breaks out into hives, and if she ingests it, Anaphylaxis occurs. After having several alcohol-related accidents when she was younger, she now carries an EpiPen around with her at all times.

She also experiences extreme anxiety when around needles and this anxiety often triggers Vasovagal Syncope attacks. While not life-threatening, she still needs to be monitored when in the presence of needles in case of fainting.
