Personal History:
Kathryn Morelli comes form a traditional Italian family. Born and raised in
Chicago by an openly Mafia-related family, she has an intricate understanding of
how people work together in less than legal situations. Subtlety of manipulation
of law and people has been one of her specialties since an early age.
In recompense, however for her family’s overtly illegal dealings, Kate put her
abilities to good use by joining the United States Air Force. The AF Academy
offered a challenge academically and physically, and she silently excelled in
both fields. After graduation, she pursued government work, further removing
herself from her families’ illegal nature by applying herself to the top secret
work of the Stargate program. At the pentagon, she grew to love the complicated
puzzles that the DHD presented and quickly adopted it as her specialty. After
years of theoretical, she was asked to join the field teams of the SGC before
quickly being transferred to Genesis Colony, and, eventually, landing a spot as
a CO of an SGB team.
