Background: |
Jake was born and raised in Manchester
New Hampshire. Both of his parents are doctors, his father Jason is
one of the top plastic surgeons in New Hampshire and his mother Karen
had her own clinic specializing in young children. Jake is the oldest
of 3 children and everyday of his life he was destined to become a doctor
like the rest of his family. Jake was an average student at the beginning of high school but found out when he was a Junior that he excelled in Science mainly Biology. When Jake graduated he was pretty much forced by his father to go to Johns Hopkins Medical School, even though Jake wanted to go to Harvard. Both of his parents were Johns Hopkins graduates and they wanted all of there children to go there to, so Jake went. He was top of his class heading into his Graduate program at Johns Hopkins. Jake focused on Emergency Medicine and General Surgery. After starting his graduate degree to get MD, Jake didn't feel he was doing all he could. Jake had always wanted to serve his country, but his parents strongly disapproved. Jake started his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital working in the ER, he liked it but there was still something missing he knew he could be doing something more. In the year 2002, Jake was going into his last year of his residency he decided to join the Navy. His parents didn't like the idea of their only son joining the Navy, even though he'd still be working in medicine. Once he finished his residency and got his MD, Jake took some hand-to-hand combat training and then was placed on the USS Lincoln as one of the doctors. The Navy saw his potential and after a year of serving on the ship he was asked to be a surgeon at Camp Pendleton Navy Hospital. Jake was only there a year before he was asked if he wanted a new assignment, it would be more field work which was what Jake was craving for. He took the position before really knowing what it was; after he found out he was a little skeptical about it. Jake didn't worry about it to much; this was the chance he had been waiting for to use his medical skills for a better purpose. |

Psychological Profile: |
Jake is very kind and sweet. He puts others before him self, maybe a reason why he became a doctor. Jake handles him self very well in tough stressful situations. He always has a cool head and hardly gets angry. As a stress reliever he enjoys kickboxing, reading, and jogging. Due to his funny and goofy personality he makes friends very easily and would be a good addition to any squad. |
