| Background: | Born and raised in Los Alamitos, California. Lead a fairly normal childhood. Born into a family with two parents (Dylan & Alyssa Renolds), and two brothers--one older (John) and one younger (Scott). Went to all local public schools, which were exceptional for public schools. Joined the Air Force when she was twenty in order to help pay for college and ending up liking it more than she originally thought. Went to the local CSU which was Long Beach (CSULB). She worked extremely hard to earn her masters and then went for her Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering. She then received her Ph.D. from CSULB and Claremont Graduate University. Moved to Lompac, California to Vandenberg Air Base. At Vadenberg, Arissa worked in the Air Force Space Command center. |
